Is MusiqCity free to join?＋
Yes. Members can create a professional profile, explore the city, apply to opportunities, message applicants, share events, and create standard gear listings without a membership fee. No credit card is required.
What can I be charged for?＋
Charges apply only when you intentionally choose a paid option such as advertising, a featured opportunity, promoted gear placement, a gear purchase, a digital product, or another clearly priced service.
Will MusiqCity automatically start a subscription?＋
No. MusiqCity does not offer a paid monthly membership. Optional purchases use Square checkout and display the price before payment.
Opportunities & community
Who can join MusiqCity?＋
Artists, producers, songwriters, engineers, DJs, musicians, managers, churches, venues, studios, promoters, and other professionals who support music are welcome.
What opportunities can be posted?＋
Members can post gigs, auditions, church roles, studio sessions, collaboration requests, venue bookings, creative services, and other legitimate music opportunities.
Do opportunities stay forever?＋
No. Open opportunities automatically expire after 30 days or after the listed event date. Owners can also close or mark them filled.
Where can members share events?＋
The Events District supports concerts, church events, workshops, open mics, festivals, conferences, and other music-community gatherings.
Gear, payments & products
How does the Gear Market work?＋
Members list gear for free and connect a Square seller account. Buyers use secure Square checkout. MusiqCity collects a 5% seller fee only after a completed sale.
Where does a seller receive money?＋
Square deposits the seller's proceeds into the bank account connected to that seller's Square account.
How are digital products delivered?＋
After Square confirms payment, MusiqCity unlocks the ZIP download and emails the same secure delivery link to the buyer.
Are digital purchases refundable?＋
Digital purchases are generally final sale. MusiqCity will replace or correct corrupted files, inaccessible downloads, or duplicate charges as described in the policies.
Safety & support
Can I report or block another member?＋
Yes. MusiqCity includes reporting and blocking tools. Report fraud, harassment, unsafe content, impersonation, or prohibited activity for review.
Does MusiqCity guarantee bookings or sales?＋
No. Free community tools and optional paid promotion can improve access and visibility, but MusiqCity cannot guarantee bookings, sales, followers, or specific results.
